Vivian Wang is the Founding Partner & Managing Director of Ace Investment Management (AceInvestmentMgmt.com) Hedge Fund and General Partner and Portfolio Manager at NewChic Capital (NewChicCapital.com) Family Office. Vivian also holds a senior position in a capital markets advisory firm that helps listed companies achieve and sustain fair valuation and strengthen brand recognition in the global financial markets. Possessing extensive experience in the financial services industries, Vivian previously worked at Infinity Group, a leading China and Israel focused private equity fund with over 1.5 billion USD AUM. She was responsible for a wide range of projects including investment analysis, deal sourcing, due diligence and investment monitoring. Prior to her foray into Private Equity, Vivian was an Equity Trader with Macquarie Group with a particular focus on Asia-Pacific market. Vivian graduated with a BA in Economics from Sun Yat-sen University and a BBA in Marketing from ESLSCA. She also holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Ever since her time as an HKUST MBA student (the youngest on record for her MBA intake year) where she and Jennifer met and became friends, Vivian has been much regaled for her prowess managing her own personal investment portfolio even in her student days, as well as overseeing P&L on other personal projects and collaborations with friends. She was and is also much lauded for her prowess on the Poker table, where her natural instincts for trading, game theory, psychology come into play — Vivian has participated now in The World Poker Series twice. She is the Finance Director for Women With Purpose (Part of Society of Family Offices) where she helps lead efforts for NexGen including roundtables and seminars on Investing, Gaming, Technology, Education, Culture, Lifestyle and more.
